When traveling to other cities, I spot people in outfits that I wish I had on. Things that make it clear that they live there and I am just a visitor trying to fit in. I love the effortlessly chic fashion that says, “I just stepped out of my apartment to run errands this way.” I always end up in search of those pieces in that particular city. This past week was New York City. Here are a few of the things I became obsessed with while I was there.

I have an event coming up where I need to dress like a Rockstar of my choice. This lead me to Blondie and my new found obsession. As I sift through dozens of photos of this style icon I realize how current her fashion is today.
The smokey eye, the Ray-Bans, the one shoulder tops and dresses, the blonde bob, the over the knee boots, slip and cut out dresses and the bangs. Need I say more! Not only has she inspired my character but also my everyday fashion.
